Background. What is the pinyinator? Using CEDICT, the pinyinator derives both the pinyin and the definition for each character pasted into the box below. I originally wrote this to allow illiterate ABCs like myself a means of singing and understanding Chinese hymns (which interestingly are mostly translated from English). This is why the pinyin appears directly below each line of Chinese text.
Note that since this tool was written for IE, there is a high probability that it will not work on Firefox. When the outcry is sufficient, I'm sure something can be done to accomodate. Of course, encouragement without outcry always appreciated.
